If you decide to find out more about wrinkle treatments you will need to approach a number of providers to find out what they can offer. This checklist of questions can help to make sure that the provider gives you the details you need to make an informed decision.

- Is there more than one treatment available for this condition/procedure?
- What is the cost of the treatment, including any materials I may need after it?
- Will I be reviewed after the treatment - and is this included in the price?
- Have there been any new developments in this treatment area?
- What are the risks involved?
- What are the risks with the different treatment options?
- Who will carry out the procedure?
- How often do you perform the procedure?
- Are you an accredited member of a professional society for cosmetic clinicians? If so which one?
- How long have you been trained in this treatment and do you have a certificate of accreditation?
- Do you have professional indemnity insurance?
- How long does the treatment take?
- Is all equipment used sterile and used only for me?
- Do you have any 'before and after' photographs of patients you have treated that I can see?
- What type of aftercare regime will I need to follow after the treatment?
- How long do the results last?
- Will I need a course of treatments?
- What will happen if I am unhappy with any aspect of the treatment?
- Will my photographs be shown to anyone else for any reason?
